Prostitution Racket Busted In Front Of Varanasi Railway Station, Six Girls Arrested

Varanasi, December 18 (TNA) A prostitution in Vizianagaram market near Cantt railway station of Varanasi was busted by Sigra police on Saturday. Six women and four youths were arrested and sent to jail. ACP Chetganj Shiva Singh had received information that prostitution is being carried out in the Vizianagaram market under the flyover in front of the Cantt station.

On this basis, the ACP along with Sigra police station in-charge Raju Singh conducted a checking operation with women policemen and arrested six women and four youths from under the flyover.

During police interrogation, the women told cops that they used to stand at different places under the flyover in front of Cantt station. Passengers exiting the station are their customers. Hotel workers are also involved in this illegal business.

ACP Chetganj Shiva Singh told that now daily surprise inspection of hotels located in front of Cantt station will be done. All hotel and guest house operators have been warned that if they patronize this illegal business, cases will be filed against them as well.
