Property Worth Rs 28.58 Crore, Belonging To Mukhtar Ansari Wife And Brother-in-Law's Attached

LUCKNOW || The crackdown by Yogi Adityanath government against gangster-turned-politician Mukhtaar Ansari continued on the weekend as the Ghazipur administration ordered the attachment of property of his wife and brother-in-law.

A home department official on Saturday informed that the district magistrate of Ghazipur, using the powers vested in him, has ordered the attachment of property worth Rs 28.58 crore, belonging to Ansari's wife Aafsa Ansari, his brother-in-laws Anwar Shehzaad and Sarleel Raza.

This property includes land and buildings. The action has been taken under the section 14 (1) of the Gangster Act.
