Property Dealer Shot Dead In Lucknow, Police Launch Manhunt To Nab Killers

Lucknow, June 12 (TNA) A property dealer was shot dead in the state capital on Monday evening. He was shot by unidentified assailants who fired on him from the back around 7:30 pm when he was headed home after closing his shop of property dealing. The crime was committed in the PGI area.

The deceased has been identified as Amit Kumar Gautam. He died on the spot after being shot in Vrindavan Yojna area. As soon as the information of the murder was received by the Lucknow Police, DCP East Hridesh Kumar and senior police officials rushed to the crime scene. Gautam was resident of Tikra village.

Several teams have been formed to identify and nab the killers, an official informed. The body has since been sent for post-mortem.
