Probe Underway On Charges Of Abusive Language By Two IAS Officers

Lucknow, March 8 (TNA) The Appointment Department of the Uttar Pradesh government has informed activist Dr Nutan Thakur, that her complainants against two IAS officers Chandra Bhushan Singh and Vaibhav Srivastav for use of abusive and improper language are being enquired into.

DM Aligarh Chandra Bhushan Singh has been accused of using abusive and improper language against then acting CMS Aligath Dr VK Gupta. In the viral audio, Singh is using words like lashing with shoe, idiot etc, along with using another clear abusive language.

DM Rae Bareli Vaibhav Srivastav has been alleged by ex-CMO Raebareli Dr Sanjay Kumar Sharma of using abusive language, including words like Donkey, against him in a meeting in presence of many other officers.

In October 2020, the State Government directed Commissioner Aligarh to enquire against Chandrabhushan Singh and Commissioner Lucknow to enquire against Vaibhav Srivastav.

As per information given by Appointment Department CPIO OP Tripathi, both the enquiries are pending. Nutan Thakur however said that such long pendency of enquiries in such serious matters is a matter of concern.
