Probe Into Umesh Pal’s Killing Intensifies, Car Used In Crime Found

Prayagraj, February 26 (TNA) The investigation into the killing of advocate Umesh pal and his police gunner intensified on Sunday with many leads also coming the way of the police. Police have recovered a white Creta car without number plate from near a house in Chakia area. The assault shooter was also seen in a white car.

Cops are on hot pursuit of the shooters and is also trying to ascertain the owner of the car. Police is engaged in finding information from the chasis number. The police have taken this suspicious car into their custody.

At the same time, an STF Lucknow team along with Prayagraj unit has reached Sulem Sarai spot where the shocking crime was committed on Friday. Lucknow STF's Additional SP Vishal Vikram Singh and Prayagraj Unit's DSP Navendu Singh are investigating at every point on the spot.

According to sources, the DGP and senior officials of the home department are monitoring the investigation and the progress 24x7. The chief minister Yogi Adityanath, who has taken a grim view of the shootout, is also being updated on the investigations.
