Primary Schools Reopen In UP, Yogi Visits Students In Lucknow

Lucknow, March 1 (TNA) As primary schools across the state of Uttar Pradesh on Monday reopened after a gap of almost one year due to the Coronavirus pandemic, chief minister Yogi Adityanath visited a government school in the state capital.

He was accompanied by additional chiefs secretary (Information) Navneet Sehgal, principals secretary (DIPR) Sanjay Prasad and district magistrate of Lucknow Abhishek Prakash. He interacted with the kids and asked them to take necessary precautions while also enjoying the reopening of schools and meeting friends.

The chief minister also inspected the arrangements made by the school authorities and said that there should be no let up in precautions against the Coronavirus. While parents are edgy about sending their wards to schools until they are immunised, the state government is trying to allay fears as the number of Corona patients is dwindling.
