Prayagraj Police Bust Inter-State Gang Of Car Thieves, Three Arrested

Prayagraj, December 29 (TNA) The Prayagraj Police has busted an inter-state gang that stole four-wheelers and two0-wheelers from the city. Khuldabad police and SOG have arrested the gang's kingpin Vinod Jaiswal alias Pappan, Shahnawaz and his brother-in-law Mohammad Safar, Dayashankar and his son Rajan Bhartia.

Three four wheelers, two bikes, five pistols, cartridges, fake Aadhar card and diazapam were recovered from their possession. The gang leaders Pappan and Shahnawaz were wanted from three police stations and a reward of Rs 25-25 thousand each had been declared on them.

SP City Dinesh Kumar Singh and CO Satyendra Tiwari presented the accused in front of the media and informed that many vehicles that were stolen included a WagonR car, Bolero.

The gang used to steal the vehicle on demand. Pappan, Shahnawaz and Safar used to steal cars. Dayashankar and his son used to search for customers. After this the number plates were changed and sold in Bihar.
