Posters Of Samajwadi Vijay Yatra Give Mulayam A Miss, Party Cadres Say Akhilesh Again On A Wrong Trip!

Lucknow, October 9 (TNA) Battling against all odds to come back to power, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav, many still feel, has not mended his old, arrogant ways. And the latest example, his critics within the party, is the publicity material of the SP for the forthcoming ‘Samajwadi Vijay Yatra’, starting from October 12.

While there are in all nine socialist stalwarts shown in the posters, hoardings, party founder and father of Akhilesh Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav, is forgotten and seemingly dumped. All the old leaders and workers associated with SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav are saying this thing openly now.

He is out to humiliate a man who always watched his back and by doing this he is in choppy waters once again like in 2017 when his immature behaviour, juevenile political approach and wrong advisors sunk the SP ship

According to these people, Mulayam Singh and Shivpal Singh Yadav in whose laps Akhilesh Yadav played and also learnt the formative steps of politics are not only being sidelined but also being humiliated once again.

Party leaders rue how the old guard has been side stepped and the new SP is full of people who flatter and misguide Akhilesh. “He doesnt want to hear sane advice, forget criticism” says one while pointing out that all the “nice people” carefully handpicked by Mulayam during his long stint as party boss, have beeing forgotten and dumped.

Party leaders also point out that already there is a lot of resentment in the cadres as Shivpal Singh’s overtures for an electoral understanding for the 2022 state assembly elections have already been spurned.

“He is out to humiliate a man who always watched his back” says an old guard while pointing out that Akhilesh “seemingly is in choppy waters once again like in 2017 when his immature behaviour, juvenile political approach and wrong advisors sunk the SP ship”.
