Policeman’s Wife Strangulated To Death In Her Prayagraj Home

Prayagraj, June 4 (TNA) Wife of a Government Railway Police (GRP) sub-inspector was found dead in her house in the city on Sunday., She was 55 and was alone in the house when she was apparently strangulated. The cop Nihal Singh Yadav, lives near Pipalgaon of Dhumanganj police station area, is currently posted as ASI in Tundla.

Two sons live outside and daughter lives in Satna. Family members keep coming and going often. The deceased Pushpa Devi was alone in the house for a week. As soon as the information of the incident was received, force of many police stations reached the crime scene. For an in-depth investigation of the case, the help of forensic unit and dog squad is being taken along with the field unit.

The deceased was not picking her phone for a long time on Sunday, distressed by this, the daughter informed the neighbours about this. When they went inside the house to check on her, Pushpa Devi was found lying dead on the third floor. No signs of robbery were found in the house. Police suspect that the incident was carried out due to personal enmity.
