Police Sub-Inspector Shoots Himself Dead Outside UP State Assembly
Lucknow, March 4 (TNA) In a tragic incident in the state capital on Thursday, a police sub-inspector shot himself dead just outside the State assembly building near the gate number 7.
Police officials identified him as Nirmal Chaubey and he allegedly was undergoing depression. He was rushed to the Civil hospital in critical condition from the parking lot where he shot himself in the chest, where he was pronounced dead.
He was posted in Banthara police station and had a house in Chinhat area of the state capital. He originally hailed from Varanasi. A suicide note has been recovered from him.
Senior police officials rushed to the hospital soon after the news reached them. In his suicide note he has written about suffering from a disease and that he did not want to live anymore.
He also urged the chief minister to take care of his family after his death.
