Partial Lockdown In Uttar Pradesh Extended Till May 17

Lucknow, May 9 (TNA) Amid growing cases of Coronavirus in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday announced the extension of the ongoing 'Partial Curfew' till May 17, a senior official said.

The Corona Curfew, as it is popularly known, has been now extended for the second time, as experts told the state government that the worst was not over yet.

The state however recorded a partial drop in the number of cases over the past few days though the number of fatalities continue to be high and therefore a reason for worry.
