Part Of Cold Storage Collapses In Sambhal, Many Labourers Trapped

Sambhal, March 16 (TNA) Many persons are feared trapped under the debris after a section of a cold storage building caved in on Thursday afternoon. The cold storage was being used to store potatoes and there were many people present when the mishap took place.

On receiving information, personnel from many police stations reached the scene of the mishap and undertook a prompt rescue and relief operation. Some labourers have been pulled out of the rubble but many are still feared trapped under the debris.

The AR Potato Cold Storage is located on the Islamnagar Orchi Marg at the Sambhal-Badaun border, an official informed. More details are awaited.
