Old Woman Caretaker Strangulated At A Temple In UP's Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr, July 15 (TNA) An old women, who served at a local temple in Bulandshahr was found dead on Thursday, police said. The 82-year-old lived in the temple and sued to clean the place and took care of the temple and the idols. She used to live by the offering devotees made at the temple.

She was found dead on Thursday and it appeared prima facie that she had been strangulated.

According to the information, a Chamund Devi temple is located in Buklana village under Bugrasi Chowki area of ​​Bulandshahr. The servitor of this temple, Sadhvi, used to stay in the room above the temple and had been serving this temple for the last ten years.

Since she did not have any property or valuable in persons, the police have since ruled out loot as the motive. Police is investigating the case and there is palpable anger in the villagers over the gruesome crime.
