No Stopping For COVID In Uttar Pradesh, 7042 Fresh Cases In Last One Day

LUCKNOW || Despite government claims of controlling it well, the spread of global pandemic Coronavirus infection is at a peak in Uttar Pradesh. No wonder that in a scary truth, the state recorded its highest single-day spike in the past 24-hours, with 7042 fresh COVID positive cases.

In bad news coming from districts, Anurag Arya, SP of Pratapgarh has been infected with Corona and so has been his wife. The Corona report of Bareilly CMO VK Shukla has also come positive.

In the last 24 hours, 1,49,311 samples of corona virus were tested. Earlier on September 6, 6777 patients were found and 1,55,946 samples were tested that day. Now the total number of patients has reached 2,92,029.

So far, a total of 70.67 lakh people have been subjected to Corona tests, an official of the health department claimed however. At the same time, a total of 2,21,506 patients have recovered. That is, 75.8 percent patients have been cured so far. On Thursday, 94 people died. So far, a total of 4206 people have lost their lives to this dangerous virus. Active cases now in Uttar Pradesh stand at 66317.

Of the 94 people who died in the last 24 hours, 11 in Lucknow, eight in Kanpur, six in Gorakhpur, five each in Meerut and Pilibhit, four each in Prayagraj, Varanasi, Saharanpur and Muzaffarnagar, Moradabad, Rampur and Bahraich.

Three each, Aligarh, Deoria, Ayodhya, Shahjahanpur, Azamgarh, Lakhimpur Kheri, Basti, Rae Bareli and Auraiya, two more in Mahoba, Ambedkarnagar, Farrukhabad, Sambhal, Kannauj, Badayun, Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Chandauli, Sitapur, Gonda and one person each from Maharajganj, Ballia and Barabanki.
