Nine IPS Officials Transferred In UP, Ashok Kumar Rai Is New Mainpuri Police Chief

Lucknow, June 3 (TNA) Nine officials of the Indian Police Service (IPS) have been transferred by the Uttar Pradesh government, an official said on Thursday. Ashok Kumar Rai has been made the new police chief of Mainpuri while the present SP Avinash Pandey has been sent to Prayagraj in the PAC.

Ashok Kumar has been made the new SP of Firozabad, while Ajay Kumar has been named as the new SP of Hardoi. Sudha Singh has been made the new SP of Mahoba while Shivhari Meena has been made the new SSP of Jhansi.

The incumbent SSP of Jhansi Rohan P Kanay has been shifted as SP Logistics. Mahoba SP Arun Srivastava has been sent as commandant of the 48th battalion of the PAC in Sonebhadra.
