Netizen Sends SOS For Help, Alleges Lumpen Group Molesting Women In Car In UP’s Deoria

Lucknow, Oct 11 (TNA) A netizen on Monday morning shared a scary video seeking SoS help from the UP Police and other higher authorities in Uttar Pradesh, and alleged that a group of lumpen youngsters had waylaid their car in Deoria district of the state.

The video shot from inside the car shows a group of young men loitering around and then moving towards the car saying something. The netizen told TNA that the incident took place in the Sarkara village on the Sajaon road, some two-km away from the police station Lar.

“Gangs harassing and molesting women, abusing and extortion in day light” the person in distress wrote on Twitter while tagging Deoria Police, the ADG of Gorakhpur, UP DGP Mukul Goyal, a host of other concerned officials and the union home minister Amit Shah and UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

UP 112 promptly registered the complaint and assured that help would come soon. On repeated requests to confirm whether the 112 help came on time or not the eprson merely responded by saying: “I have escaped from the location safely but the criminals have damaged my car.”
