National Kho-Kho Player Strangulated, Body Found Dumped On Railway Tracks In UP

Bijnore, Sep 11 (TNA) In a sensational and tragic event, body of a national Kho-Kho player has been found on the side of a railway track in Bijnore district of Uttar Pradesh, police said.

Identified as 24-year-old Babita, resident of Kuttia colony, falling under the Kotwali police station area, the victim was first strangulated and then her body dumped besides the railway tracks.

As soon as the incident came to light, the GRP police reached the spot, took the dead body from the spot and sent it to for post-mortem. Inconsolable family members have also alleged that Babita could have bene first raped and then killed.

The relatives of the deceased have filed a case of murder against unknown persons, giving a complaint to the GRP police. The GRP police has started investigation regarding this incident. At the same time, on receiving the information, SP Dr. Dharamveer Singh also reached the spot and took stock of the entire incident.
