Muzaffarnagar Police Register Case Against Hairstylist Jawed Habib For Spitting On A Woman’s Hair

Muzaffarnagar, January 7 (TNA) A case has been registered against famous hairstylist Jawed Habib under sections 355 (assault), 504 (insult) of IPC and relevant sections of Epidemic Act. This was done after a complaint was filed, based on a viral video showing Habib allegedly spitting on a woman's hair.

Rakesh Kumar, CO, Khatauli (Muzaffarnagar) confirmed that the complaint has been registered and said that after going through the viral video, further legal action will be taken.

Taking this into cognizance, the National Commission for Women also came in action and asked the Uttar Pradesh police to probe the veracity of a purported video that shows popular hairstylist Jawed Habib spitting on a woman's head while styling her hair.

The incident took place at a workshop being conducted by Habib in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh.
