MoU Inked For Establishing A Medical College On PPP Mode In Sambhal And Maharajganj

Lucknow, April 8 (TNA) An MoU was signed between the state government and the PPP partner regarding the medical college to be set up on PPP mode in Sambhal and Maharajganj districts in front of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Thursday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the the work of establishment of medical college on PPP mode is being done by Shri Siddhi Vinayak Trust, Bareilly and Shanti Foundation Trust, Maharajganj.

For the first time in the state a medical college is being established on PPP mode and added said that the process of construction of medical colleges on PPP mode in 16 unserved districts would be taken forward on a war footing. In this sequence, the process of setting up 330-330-bed medical colleges in Maharajganj and Sambhal districts is being carried forward with transparency on the basis of the conditions of National Medical Commission.

The state government has set a target of establishing medical colleges for PPP partner Shanti Foundation and Shri Siddhi Vinayak Trust in Maharajganj and Sambhal districts by the year 2024 respectively.
