Mother-Daughter Hacked To Death By Robbers In Prayagraj

Prayagraj, Oct 13 (TNA) A woman and her daughter were hacked to death in Prayagraj late last night, police said on Wednesday. The double murder was committed on the trans-Yamuna area falling udner the industrial police station.

Entering the house, the dacoits killed the mother and daughter with sharp-edged weapons. Not only this, the elderly ie the woman's husband was stabbed and wounded critically with a sharp weapon. After this they decamped with cash and jewelery. The miscreants did not however attack the six-year-old girl.

Dog squad and foresic team has bene pressed into service at the crime scene. The seriously injured old man has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The deceased have been indeitifed as Prem Pati Devi (55) and Tanu (18). The injured has been identified as Bajrang Bahadur alia Nachkau.
