Moradabad Trader Kidnapped, Ransom Paid But Killed

Moradabad, June 6 (TNA) A trader dealing in auto spare parts was killed after being kidnapped in Moradabad district of the state. He had gone missing a day back and a call was later made from his mobile phone seeking Rs 5 lakh was sent for his safe release, as demanded by the criminals.

The money was sent through as servant but after that his mobile phone was switched off.

Scared of some mis happening, the family immediately informed the police which found out the mobile location of the trader and started a search operation for him.

However, the badly bruised and batters body of the 46-year-old Kuldeep Gupta was found on a roadside in Bijnore district Inder the Syohara police station.

Prabhakar Chowdhary, SSP told reporters that police investigation was underway and some leads had come its way. We hope to crack the case soon and bring the guilty to justice, he said.
