Monsoon Session of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Begins August 17

Lucknow, August 10 (TNA) Following the approval of Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit regarding the proceedings of the House, the Assembly Secretariat has released the proposed program for the monsoons session of the assembly.

According to officials, the assembly session will be held from 17 to 24 August 2021. As per the schedule, a condolence motion will be passed on the demise of the members of the assembly and former members on August 17 and tributes will be paid.

This will be followed by formalities in the assembly session on August 18. Ordinances, notifications, rules, etc. will be laid on the table of the House. Apart from this, there will be other works related to legislative works on August 18 itself. The House will not meet on August 19 due to Moharram holiday.

With the treasury and opposition benches daggers darwn over various issues, the session is likely to be a stormy one

This will be followed by the presentation of the supplementary grant demand for the financial year 2021-22 on August 20 by the government. There will be no meeting on August 21 and 22. Legislative work or any other legislative work which will be laid on the table of the House on August 23 will be discussed and other proceedings will be discussed.

This will be followed by discussion on the supplementary grants for the financial year 2021-22 on August 24. Consideration and voting on the demands and the related Appropriation Bill will be passed with the consent of the House. Apart from this, the proceedings of the House related to legislative works will also be held on August 24.
