Military Literature Festival Lucknow Closes For The Year With A Thumbs Up From The Audience

Lucknow, Nov 8 (TNA) As the Lucknow Military Literature Festival closed for the year on Sunday, it’s fifteenth session drew a passionate response from the audience who were glued to the conversation between Gadkari and Gill , who are both military veterans - one from India and one from Pakistan who write Thriller Novels and much more.

The authors discussed Maj Gen Nitin Gadkari’s new Book ‘Oscar Tango ‘ which is set in the Kashmir Valley with three heroes and a villain - a devilish organisation, the ISI.

‘ Flight To Pakistan’ by Dr Azam Gill, who is a French Citizen now is draped around the underworld of Lahore and extending beyond the borders to the USA.

When two authors come together , it is meeting of bright and incisive minds . Both Gill and Gadkari dived into the intricacies of writing ‘ Thrillers’ where fiction often matches facts and the story is based on life time experiences.

Another highlight of the session was the life journey of Dr Azam Hill, who was an officer with Pak Army, a soldier with French Legionnaires, a Civil Servant in France, a Professor of English, a blogger, a writer and a thinker.

He also touched upon how the hierarchical corruption manifests itself through uncontrolled power and absence of monitoring.

The 15 sessions of Military Literature Festival Lucknow attracted 50 panelists and moderators - national and international - of repute and class to enrich the audience.
