Mayawati Lashes Out At Samajwadi Party, Says Aligning With It Was A Big Blunder
LUCKNOW || Stung by the rebellion by six party MLA's, at the behest of Akhilesh Yadav, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Thursday lashed out at the Samajwadi Party and said her joining ranks with it for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls was a big blunder. That was a hasty decision which did not yield expected results, the four time UP chief minister said in a statement to the media.
She also added that SP was not worth trusting and said that at any cost she should not have taken such a decision. After the poor showing at the hustings, the Dalit leader went on to say, SP leaders broke all channels of communication as if they did not exist at all. This was one of the reasons we decided to severe all ties with teh SP, she stated further.
Mayawati also rued the fact that to stop the NDA from returning to power she had also forgotten the murderous attempt on her life by SP workers and goons and recalled how from day one of the alliance, Akhilesh Yadav had started telling SC mishra that no since alliance has been formalised the June 2 Guest house case should be taken back and which we did too, the former UP chief minister said.
She also underlined that in the coming legislative council elections her party will ensure that SP candidates bite the dust and if this requires voting for BJP or any other candidates, so be it.
