Massive Fire At Plywood Factory In Lucknow’s Aishbagh Locality
Lucknow, June 3 (TNA) A massive fire broke out in a plywood factory in Aishbagh on Friday morning. A plume of smoke spread throughout the area creating panic in the locality. Firefighters arrived on information. The fire fighting work was going on till the writing of the news.
About 10 vehicles were engaged in dousing the fire. People in the neighborhood started shouting after seeing smoke and flames coming out of the plywood factory located near Bharat Dharma Kanta. As soon as the information was received, FSO RK Yadav arrived with the team from Chowk Fire Station. He started trying to douse the fire. Seeing the fire, fire brigade were also called from Hazratganj and Alambagh.
Singh said that so far no casualties have been reported in the fire. Preliminary investigation revealed that factory owner Bharat Singh had not taken NOC from the fire department. The factory was running without NOC. At the same time, there were no equipment related to fire safety in the factory. The CFO said that action would be taken by giving notice to the factory owner.
