Major Transfers In UP’s Police Department

Lucknow, November 3 (TNA) The DGP Headquarters has transferred five Additional Superintendents of Police. Vibha Singh, posted in notification in Saharanpur, has been sent to PTS Meerut. Manoj Kumar, ASP Informatics Intelligence in Varanasi, has been made Deputy Commander of 42nd Corps PAC Prayagraj. Shailendra Singh Rathore, posted in ATS has been sent to the post of LIU (regional) in Saharanpur.

Ayodhya Prasad Singh, posted at DGP Headquarters, has been made ASP LIU in Varanasi. Whereas in 42nd Corps PAC Prayagraj, Deputy Commander Pritibala Gupta has been posted in ATS. The state government has made senior IPS Raghubir Lal as ADG Security. Lal has recently returned from central deputation. The post was vacant since VK Singh, who held the post of ADG Security, went on central deputation.

PAC Headquarters has issued orders to promote 974 constables to the post of Chief Constable. A total of 1372 constables were found suitable for promotion against the vacancies of selection year 2023. Out of these, against the vacancies till October 2023, 974 reservists have been promoted from their current place of appointment.
