Mahoba Police Working Overtime In Cold Nights, Checking Vehicles

Mahoba, February 1 (TNA) With strict directives from the state government to curb crime and apprehend criminals, police in many districts have been burning the midnight oil in the exercise.

On instructions of the district police chief, Mahoba cops are also checking vehicles in the cold nights at entry and exit points of the district, an official told TNA.

Police officials and constables have been pressed into duty to check vehicles, ascertain the travel papers, vehicle license etc as well to ensure that no anti-social element or criminals slips into the district, the official further informed.
