Mahant Narendra Giri Suicide Case: Summons Issued to Amar Giri, May 31 Fixed For Next Hearing

Prayagraj, May 18 (TNA) The suicide case of Mahant Narendra Giri, who was the President of Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, was heard in the District Court on Wednesday. On behalf of the CBI, District Judge Santosh Rai told the court that the first statement of the plaintiff Amar Giri, who informed about the incident, should be recorded in the court. The court issued an order to send summons to the plaintiff Sue Amar Giri on the due date.

District Government Advocate Gulabchand Agrahari told that the trial in the case is to start in the court of the District Judge. The court had summoned Mahant Balveer Giri, Peethadhishwar of Baghambari Math and Santosh Das Satua Baba as the first and second witnesses. Amar Giri's testimony will now be conducted on May 31 on the application of the CBI.
