Mahakumbh Will Be Of 45 Days, Dates Of Royal Bath Announced In The Meeting Of Representatives Of 13 Akhadas
Prayagraj, July 8 (TNA) The world's biggest religious Mahakumbh 2025 will be of exactly 45 days. There will be three royal baths, the dates of which have been announced. These dates were formally announced by the Prayagraj Mela Authority in the presence of representatives of all the 13 Akharas.
The first royal bath will be on Makar Sankranti 14 January 2025, the second royal bath will be on Mauni Amavasya 29 January 2025 and the third and last royal bath will be on Vasant Panchami on 3 February 2025. Apart from this, four major bathing festivals were also announced. Paush Purnima will be on January 13, 2025, Achala Saptami on February 4, Maghi Purnima on February 12 and Mahashivaratri's bathing festival will be on February 26.
In the meeting, the representatives of the akhadas gave suggestions to make Mahakumbh a grand affair. Two representatives each of Nirvani Ani, Mahanirvani, Juna, Niranjani, Nirmohi Ani, Awahan, Atal, Naya Udasin, Bada Udasin, Agni, Nirmal, Digambar Ani and Anand Akhara took part in the meeting at the Gandhi auditorium located at the Divisional Commissioner's office.

The Mela Authority took guidance from the office bearers of the akhadas. After this, on the advice of almanac experts, the dates of Shahi Snan were informed to the representatives of the Akharas. After this was stamped, Mahakumbh Meladhikari Vijay Kiran Anand informed the saints of the akhadas about the comprehensive action plan of Mahakumbh. The facilities provided to the akhadas were discussed.
Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, ADG Bhanu Bhaskar, IG Chandraprakash, DM Sanjay Kumar Khatri, Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma, PDA Vice President Arvind Singh Chauhan as well as Fair Authority and District Administration, Police, Tourism, Railway, Army, Airport Authority, NHAI, PWD High officials of Municipal Corporation, PDA, Health Department were present. In the meeting, the Mahakumbh Meladhikari gave assurance regarding the suggestions received from the Akharas.
From Akharas, President of Nirmohi Ani Akhara Rajendra Das from Gujarat, Mahant Dharmdas Maharaj of Nirvani Ani from Ayodhya, Shri Mahant of Mahanirvani Akhara and Secretary of Akhara Parishad Yamunapuri, Mahant Mahashivanand from Bada Akhara Udasin, Jagtar Muni from New Udasin Akhara, Mahant from Nirmal Akhara Devendra Singh Shastri, Omkar Girir from Niranjani Akhara, Rajeshwaranand from Anand Akhara, Balram Bharti from Atal Akhara were included.
