Lucknow Officials Worried At Large Gatherings At Weddings, Meet Today To Tackle The Issue

Lucknow, Nov 23 (TNA) The district administration in the state capital is worried at the growing crowds at functions and weddings and is planning to tackle the issue head on, an official said on Monday.

Since a second way and a more deadly of the Coronavirus pandemic is being anticipated by the medical fraternity, authorities are bracing up with plans to ensure that crowding does not place at weddings and other related functions.

District Magistrate of Lucknow Abhishek Prakash has called a meeting of district officials, agues house and banquet hall association owners to discuss crowd control during the wedding.

Sources say the district magistrate might be planning to curtail the guest list at weddings. Noida has already slashed the number of guests and marriages from 200 to 100.
