Lucknow, August 11 (TNA) A Nigerian national on a visit to the state capital was floored by the efficiency and honesty of the Lucknow Metro on Tuesday when the staffers of the service not only located him promptly but also returned his valuable stuff that he lost at one of the trains.

According to information a bag belonging to a Faisal Junaid, who came to India from Nigeria, Africa, containing his 1 Apple laptop, 1 smartphone, purse and debit card, got lost in the train while traveling from Metro, which was later recovered by Lucknow Metro staff and returned to its owner.

Junaid expressed his gratitude to Lucknow Metro for this and said how initially he was very worried as devices like laptops and smartphones have become an integral part of daily lives today. With the vigilance and vigilance of the Lucknow Metro employees, his bag containing his laptop, smartphone, purse and debit card was found safe and sound.

During the month of July, Metro had returned 8 smartphones, 1 laptop and Rs 13,000 to the passengers. Lucknow Metro has set up a special 'Lost and Found Cell' to return the lost luggage of the passengers.

Under this, luggage is returned to the passengers in a very convenient way. Since the inception of the service, Metro has returned hundreds of mobile phones, laptops and purses with around Rs 8 lakh left by passengers.
