Lucknow Metro Returns Rs Two Lakh Left Behind By A Passenger In Hurry

Lucknow, March 4 (TNA) The Lucknow Metro yet again endeared itself to the commuters and people of the city when a man who had left his bag with Rs two lakh in cash in it, was resturned the bag safely after it was traced by alert Metro staff within 15 minutes.

According to an officials today at 10:58 AM, Kuntal Jain, resident of Jawahar Nagar, Jalandhar who owns a shop at Charbagh, was traveling from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport Metro Station to Transport Nagar Metro Station. While deboarding the train, he mistakenly left the brown coloured bag comprising ₹ 2 lakh on the seat. Later on, after reaching the exit point of the metro station, he remembered that he had left his bag on the metro seat.

He immediately contacted the station controller deputed at the Transport Nagar Metro Station. The Lucknow Metro officials after knowing about the incident from Jain, monitored the CCTV footage closely.

The Lucknow Metro station controller told him that his bag had been safely deposited at Alambagh Metro Station. After completing all the formalities, station controller Sweety Saluja handed over the brown coloured bag comprising to the in-despair passenger.

Jain, appreciated the honesty and dedication of Lucknow Metro officials and pointed out how “it took just 15 minutes for the Lucknow Metro officials” to track his bag.
