Lucknow DM Visits Bada Imambara, Orders Immediate Repairs

Lucknow, August 17 (TNA) Maulana Dr. Yasoob Abbas, Secretary and Spokesperson of All India Shia Personal Law Board met District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar on Tuesday with regards to the dilapidated condition of the monument, specially the Bada Imambara.

Recently, in the rain, the upper part of the labyrinth in the Bada Imambara had fallen due to which the employee Musheer Alam was injured. The District Magistrate gave full assurance of Musheer Alam's treatment. According to the employees, the Archaeological Department of India (ASI) is responsible for the maintenance of the properties of the Trust.

But the officials of the Archaeological Department do not fulfill their responsibility. After this meeting of Maulana Yasoob Abbas, the District Magistrate inspected the Bada Imambara and ordered for repairs.
