Lucknow-Chandigarh Express Hits Vehicles At A Railway Crossing In Shahjahanpur, Five Dead

Shahjahanpur, April 22 (TNA) Five persons were killed at a railway crossing in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday morning when two vehicles were hit by a train crossing the place.

Officials said that the mishap took place at the Hulasnagra railway crossing owing to the callousness of the gate man.

The spending Lucknow-Chandigarh Express hit a truck, a DCM and two bikes. The crossing gate was not closed on time, leading to the mishap. Five persons have died in the mishap and some injured. The high-speed train also was jolted with the impact of the collision with vehicles.
