Lucknow Architecture Festival 2.0 Begins With Spirituality, Vision, and Innovation
Lucknow, January 10 (TNA) Friday marked the commencement of the much-anticipated Lucknow Architecture Festival (LAF) 2.0, beginning on a spiritual note with a soulful recitation of Sunder Kand by Pt. Rasraj Ji Maharaj. The serene atmosphere set the tone for the day, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting by distinguished patrons Dr Vandana Sehgal, Ar Sanjay Sinha, and Ar Ajay Behl, alongside convenors Ar Rajat Kant Mittal, Ar Ranjan Shukla, and Ar Anupam Mittal.
The leadership of the Lucknow Architects Association (LAA) was represented by President Ar. Prashant Pal Singh and other prominent office bearers. The inaugural session, "State Capital Region: A Vision to Make an Epicenter of Growth," featured a panel of eminent speakers, including IAS officers Dr. Balkar Singh and Mr. Inderjit Singh, Retd. IAS Divakar Tripathi, Chief Architect UPPWD Ar. Sabrina Singh, and Ar. Shubhra Mittal. Moderated by Dr. Vandana Sehgal, the session highlighted initiatives by the Uttar Pradesh Government to develop the State Capital Region and address Lucknow's infrastructural challenges.
Keynote presentations by Ar. Anuj Kale and Ar. Shreya Khandekar, followed by a panel discussion on Lucknow’s architectural narratives, enriched the day. The event concluded with the felicitation of Archumen Quiz winners, setting an inspiring tone for the festival.
