LPG Leak Leads To Massive Fire At Biryani Outlet In Lucknow, One Killed

Lucknow, Dec 9 (TNA) A sudden and massive fire broke out at the Best Biryani restaurant in Lucknow's Charbagh at around 9.30 pm on Thursday night. Two youths who were engulfed in the flames sustained serious burn injuries and one of them passed away at a medical facility.

Police and fire brigade personnel, who reached the information of the fire, brought the fire under control in an hour with the help of a fire tenders. According to the police, Prakash Sudhakar Datre (30) of Nashik, who suffered burns in the accident, was declared brought dead at the civil hospital.

Anees Sheikh alias Badshah, suffered 40 percent burns and is undergoing treatment. The accident happened due to leakage in the LPG cylinder. Police and fire brigade team are investigating on the spot. According to ADCP Central Rajesh Srivastava, Kabir Hotel is located in Charbagh. There is a restaurant named Best Biryani in its basement.
