Leopard Dies In Sonbhadra After Being Hit By A Speeding Vehicle, Passers-by Take Selfies With The Body

Sonbhadra, February 16 (TNA) A leopard late on Wednesday died after being hit by a speeding vehicle in Sonbhadra district of UP. The incident took place at Son Echo Point Pass in Markundi Valley while crossing the road.

Passers by crossing the spot informed the police and started taking selfies with the dead body of the leopard. On seeing this, a crowd gathered at the spot. Due to this, the traffic came to a standstill for a while. The police reached the spot and removed the crowd by taking possession of the dead body. Then the traffic was restored.

According to the people present on the spot, the leopard is young and sustained a head injury. Blood had spread far and wide near the dead body. Kotwal Balmukund Mishra said that the death of the leopard has been reported due to the collision of an unknown vehicle. Forest personnel have been informed about the incident.
