KGMU Vice-Chancellor Lt General Vipin Puri tests Positive For Coronavirus

LUCKNOW || Amid the raging Coronavirus cases in the state capital, another bad news came on Friday as the vice-chancellor of the King George's Medical University (KGMU) Lt General Vipin Puri was tested positive for COVID-19.

Following the tests that inferred him being COVID+, Puri has since gone into home isolation, an official said.

His driver and other staff members have already tested positive for the dreaded virus. Though he is asymptomatic and is "feeling fine" as per protocol, he has decided to go in for home isolation.

He has also requested people who have come in close contact with him in the past few days to get themselves tested and take necessary precautions.
