KGMU Professor And Eminent Dentist Anil Chandra Succumbs To COVID

Lucknow, April 24 (TNA) The state lost a senior health worker on Saturday as Dr Anil Chandra of the Dental department of the King George Medical University (KGMU) succumbed to COVID. According to close friends he had taken voluntary duty in the COVID ward of the university to help the doctors and patients fight their battle against the Coronavirus.

He was senior professor, Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Faculty of Dental Sciences. He is survived by his wife Sangeeta, daughter Aana and son Ananya.

His close friends and colleagues remember him as a gentleman who was ever ready to extend all possible help to his co-workers and patients. Chandra was being treated at the KGMU but could not survive complications that the deadly virus brought.
