KDA Board Approves Dedicated Administrative Set Up For Kanpur South
Kanpur, Nov 20 (TNA) Looking into the long pending demand & requirements of the residents of South Kanpur, the KDA board on Thursday approved proposal to set up a “Dedicated Administrative set up” in South Kanpur where in the Offices of Secy KDA (South), ADM South, SP South, Apar Nagar Ayukt south offices will be there in the same complex.
The building will be constructed by KDA and Nagar Nigam Jointly. It will help to resolve the South Kanpur issues quickly & effectively. It might take 8 months or so for the set up to come up, divisional commissioner Raj Shekhar informed after the Board meeting.
Looking into the practical need of additional facilities like Car wash, Car repair, Driver rest place, Mini cafe etc will be permitted in upcoming Phool bagh parking area to make it more practical and user friendly.
He also informed that to streamline the development activities in the Ganga Barrage Area, a dedicated “Ganga Barrage Area Development Committee” will be set up comprising Officers from District Administration, KDA, Nagar Nigam, PWD , Irrigation etc. Other than this, a “Comprehensive City Mobility Plan” will be prepared in next 6 months to plan & execute the Large project for ensuring Smooth Traffic flow in coming years
KDA Special Camps of 3 days every month will be organised for next 4 months to attend to & to resolve the public issues & problems related to allotment of plots & houses, map sanction, refunds, physical possession, registry etc. The official also informed that the registration for 292 Plots in Transport Nagar has been opened for registered transporters with certain terms and Conditions.
