Kashmiri Students At Agra College Suspended For Celebrating Pakistan's Victory Over Indian Cricket Team

Agra, October 27 (TNA) Three students from Kashmir at the RBS Engineering Technical Campus in Agra have been suspended by the college management for celebrating Pakistani victory over the Indian cricket team in the T-20 match played on Sunday.

They had not only out status on WhatsApp and other social media platforms supporting Pakistan but had also publicly celebrated the victory which dismayed many, prompting some Hindu outfits to protest outside the college.

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) office bearers also reached the college on Tuesday and created ruckus. Circle Officer Lohamandi Saurabh Singh said that action is being taken by registering a case.

The college management has suspended all the three students. The students have bene identified as Arshad Yusuf, Inayat Altaf Sheikh and Shaukat Ahmed Ghani.
