Kanpur Police Arrests Man For Killing Stray Dog

Kanpur, Oct 17 (TNA) The police have arrested a youth in connection with the killing of a sleeping dog with a brick in Juhi Bamburhiya, Kanpur. A youth of the locality had lodged an FIR in Juhi police station against the one who bricked the dog. After this the police raided and nabbed the accused. CCTV footage of this incident had also surfaced.

The accused had told the police that he killed the stray dog for he barked all the time. ACP Babupurwa Alok Singh informed reporters that Juhi Bamburhia resident Dharmendra has a grocery shop. Giving a complaint at Juhi police station, he told that the dog was sleeping outside his house on October 15.

During this, a local Jackie, who lived in the locality, killed him by hitting a brick on his head at 3:30 pm. Dharmendra also handed over the CCTV footage to the police as evidence.
