Kanpur Cop Suspended After His Video Of Smoking Hookah With Gangster Surfaced

Kanpur, April 24 (TNA) A police sub-inspector in Kanpur has been suspended for his alleged proximity with a gangster after a video his enjoying a hukkah with the latter surfaced. The ganster is among the top-ten criminals of the district.

Crime Branch sub-inspector (surveillance in-charge) Mohammad Asif smoking hookah with Ankit Lala went viral. Apart from this, a departmental inquiry will be conducted by ACP Babupurwa. Joint Police Commissioner Anand Prakash Tiwari has issued an order in this regard.

Mohammad Asif has been in the Crime Branch and SWAT team for a long time. He was accused several times, but no one took action. He is also close to the six brothers of a vicious criminal living in Bajaria.
