Junior Engineer Of Irrigation Department Dies After Being Hit By Train

Etawah, Nov 30 (TNA) A junior engineer of the Irrigation Department died after being hit by a train at Phaphund railway station on Tuesday morning. On information, officials of the Irrigation Department and police personnel reached the station. GRP took possession of the dead body and informed the relatives.

Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Nagla Khangar police station Bhadan village of Firozabad district, was posted in the office of Executive Engineer Bhognipur Block, Lower Ganga Canal, Kanpur rural. He was hit by a train at Phaphund railway station. As mentioned, Sandeep's wife is a teacher in a government school in Hathras.

Sanjay used to live in a rented room in Auraiya. From where he had to go to Kanpur rural. On Tuesday, at the platform 4 of Phaphund railway station he was hit by a MEMU train going to Kanpur. Outpost in-charge Jai Kishore Gautam told that a diary, about five thousand rupees, ATM card and some other papers were found from the bag of the deceased.
