Jilted Lover Behind Killing Of Four Of A Family, Claims Prayagraj Police

Prayagraj, Nov 29 (TNA) The Prayagraj Police has claimed of cracking the four-murders case of the last week. At a press conference, the top cops of Prayagraj have claimed that the killings in Gohri village of Phaphamau were executed by a neighbour who was a jilted lover.

While arresting Pawan Saroj, a resident of the neighboring village, the police informed reporters that he used to keep a bad eye on the girl who was killed in the incident. He used to harass her by sending messages on WhatsApp.

Even a few hours before the incident, he had sent her a message of I love you. In response to which the teenager had sent nasty messages back, resisting his overtures. Officials say that circumstantial evidence is against him and on this basis he has been arrested. One of his companions and his cousin brother are missing, who are being looked for.

ADG Prayagraj Zone Prem Prakash said that during the investigation of the murder, when the mobile recovered from the house of the deceased was searched, an important clue was found.

An unknown number was detected through which messages were sent continuously on mobile through WhatsApp. It was found in the investigation that this number belongs to Pawan Saroj, who lives in the neighboring village and works as a laborer.
