Inter-state Gang Of Cyber Criminals Busted By Hardoi Police, Has Odisha Links

Hardoi, Sep 29 (TNA) In a big success, the Hardoi police on Wednesday busted an inter-state gang of cyber criminals who through 'Face Swap Application' and 'Fake PAN Card App', extorted lakhs of rupees from consumers by fraudulently forging identity cards and swapping SIMs of VIP numbers with encrypted documents.

Four miscreants, including the gang leader Rakesh Pal resident Sandila (Hardoi) have been arrested. An official informed that some local Airtel employees were also involved in this gang, one of whom was arrested and the rest are likely to be arrested soon. Miscreants of Orissa state are also involved in this gang.

This gang includes criminals from Lucknow, Barabanki and Hardoi, who are being arrested and sent to jail. SSP Hardoi Ajay Kumar has given a cash reward of ₹ 25,000/- to the team which bust the gang.
