Illegal Gun-Making Factory Running From A Sugarcane Field Busted By Meerut Police, Large Cache Of Arms Seized

Meerut, March 7 (TNA) Just before Holi, the Meerut Police has busted a gun factory and arrested three members of the gang which manufactured and supplied illegal guns to criminals. A pistol factory was found running in the sugarcane field located on the Khajuri-Ahmed Nagar Badhla link road under Parikshitgarh police station area in Meerut, an official said.

Parikshitgarh police raided on the information of the informer where three accused Bhure, resident of Khajuri, Tahir and Khan Mohammad residents of Ahmednagar Badhla were arrested. CO Sadar Dehat Devesh Singh informed reporters that the factory was built by the accused in the middle of the sugarcane field in the dense forest.

There was no power connection here but somehow the accused told that they prepared the pistols without the state-of-the-art resources. A pistol was sold for up to three thousand rupees. SP Dehat Anirudh Kumar said that seven pistols, a gun, drill machine and many tools for making pistols have been recovered from the accused.
