Illegal Arms Manufacturing Unit Busted By STF In Aligarh, Six Arrested

Aligarh, March 4 (TNA) The Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh Police on Thursday busted a unit which was manufacturing illegal fire arms. Six ersons were arretsed and a large cache of arms was also recovered, an officer informed TNA.

Weapons making equipment was recovered and it was discovered that these people have been smuggling arms for a long time. “Necessary legal action is being taken against the accused by registering a case against the police station Kotwali” the officer further said.

The arrested accused include Anjum Hussain, Shahroz, Shahid Ali, Dharamvir Singh, Anoop Kumar and Bhure. One revolver 32 bore, 19 illegal firearms of 315 bore and heavy quantity semi-manufactured arms and ammunition was also recovered from the unit.
