Holiday In Allahabad High Court, Subordinate Courts On Monday

Prayagraj, August 22 (TNA) Following declaration of a public holiday by the Uttar Pradesh government as a mark of respect for late former chief minister Kalyan Singh, the Allahabad High Court has also declared Monday as a holiday.

The holiday will apply to the Allahabad High Court, its bench at Lucknow and all the courts that are subordinate to the High Court, a notice by the registrar general of the Court said.

Kalyan Singh will be cremated at Naraura in Atrauli, his native place on Monday and the government has declared a three-day mourning in the state and a public holiday on Monday, the day of his cremation.
