GRP Arrests Two Youngsters With 700 Live Cartridges At Tundla Railway Station

Firozabad, April 23 (TNA) Two youth have been arrested in Firozabad with 700 cartridges at Tundla railway station. Shadab, one of the accused caught in cartridge smuggling, is a disabled person. He used to escape from the police by taking advantage of his disability, but this time he was caught.

The GRP recovered the 700 cartridges of 315 and .32 bore. The cartridges were being brought from Amroha and were headed for Bihar. SP GRP Mohammad Mustaq said that the GRP team was conducting routine checking at Tundla railway station on Friday.

During checking on platform number seven, the team's eyes fell on two suspicious youths, who were hanging bags on their shoulders. When they were stopped by the team on suspicion, both of them tried to escape. One gave his name as Shadab and the other as Faizan alias Sultan.
